The Green Party's Bundestag candidate for Rottweil / Tuttlingen, Annette Reif, and district councillor Hermann Polzer visited Forschner on Friday morning.
After a short welcome, the management introduced the company and the respective business units. Afterwards, the various products, especially in the field of electric vehicles, were presented during a tour of the company. Forschner is involved in many drive technologies, such as electric and hydrogen, which will be of growing relevance for mobility in the future. The company sees the e-mobility sector in particular as a strongly growing, dynamic area. "We are absolutely optimistic about e-mobility. We have a foot in drive technology almost everywhere. We have had good growth rates in recent years," says Peter Decker, CEO of the Forschner Group. The company therefore feels well positioned for the future.
The visit was concluded by a subsequent discussion round, which also addressed the changes in the transformation process of the automotive supply industry. "You can see that the basis for the success of your company is flexibility. You have the courage to move into new technologies at an early stage," said Annette Reif at the end of her visit to Forschner.
